Navegantes Military Police, together with the State Public Prosecutor's Office, MAPA, CIDASC, State Finance Department and Municipal Inspection Service, participated in the operation “Peixe Fraco”, launched this Wednesday (02) and Hoje dia(03), the objective of the operation was to inspect the regularity of fish companies in the municipality of Navegantes/SC.

During the inspections, irregularities were found in at least four companies, due to the absence of documentation of origin and fiscal irregularities.

Another 66 tons of fish were discarded and, in the course of the operation, they were arrested, being taken to the Navegantes Police Station, two legal representatives of companies and one responsible for accounting, for crimes against the tax order, Law No. 8,137/ nineteen ninety.
